Best In Technical Storage Forum - QBI Technical Solution of the Year, Northern Region
Surebridge IT has been announced as winner of the northern region “Technical Solution of the Year” by Hitachi Data Systems. This award was presented in recognition of the outstanding implementation at the Queensland Brain Institute (University of Queensland).
The Queensland Brain Institute (part of the University of Queensland) conducts world-class research in the field of neuroscience; ranging from human cognition and behaviour, to investigations into the visual and sensory perception of bees and flies. The institute’s overarching interest lies in the central nervous system, which includes examining the cellular and molecular mechanisms behind brain function and exploring how new nerve cells form and integrate.
QBI engaged SureBridge IT to implement a solution capable of high throughput and a technology platform that delivered on its promise. The Hitachi solution was chosen due to its capability of very high throughput and high bandwidth for scientific research in tiered storage environments. SureBridge IT showed exceptional drive in understanding QBI’s challenges and developing a solution that addressed these challenges enabling the institute to continue its research with peace of mind and confidence in the deployment within their IT environment.
